The friendly and professional manner with which I was treated allowed me to develop appropriate driving techniques and made me become a comfortable driver. I previously has a instructor in Altrincham. This instructor put me in for a test two times with which I failed. I then has another instructor who put me in and I failed again. I then went to Ben who my girlfriend recommended I then realised the reason I failed my tests was because they failed to provide me with the knowledge I needed. Ben was very thorough and enabled me to pass my test first time with him. I feel I've improved my driving immensely and would not hesitate to recommend Ben to any new driver.

If I was having difficulty with anything he would break it down into stages which really suited the way I learn things, also it gave me confidence because I didn't feel pressured to get it perfect even after a couple of attempts. Having failed three tests I resided myself to the fact that driving was not for me, so I returned to the life of public transport. Then 4 years later; not driving had become an obstacle so I took the plunge and booked some lessons with Ben at 'Driving Trend'. To say I lacked confidence was an understatement but Ben put me at ease and we started from scratch. Ben has such a calm demeanour that he immediately puts you at ease. If you make a mistake he doesn't make you feel stupid, he explains what you did wrong and goes though each move step by step. I passed with 1 minor fault. Driving still doesn't fill me with excitement, I don't think it ever will but because of Ben and Driving Trend I have my licence and for that I will always be grateful to Ben for putting up with a 30 something student convinced that she couldn't do it.
